At long last we have arrived. We are all fit and well. We have indeed found the first few hours very challenging indeed, but we're resilient. Thankyou for your prayers and email messages of encouragement. They are a great help to us. So far we have visited the Old Mission Church for Sunday evening service ( 3 power cuts during the service - and we sang to them) one school (and given morning assembly devotions (including a number of action choruses) to 500 very smartly dressed children who joined in enthusiastically) Today was a trip to market to have suitable garments manufactured. One of us got lost temporarily, but was found soon.
We'll have more to say when the "official" programme starts tomorrow( it's now 10pm Monday night here).

It is so good to read some news.I just wonder who got lost(albeit briefly) and hope your problems will be few and quickly resolved. Hardly a minute goes by without a thought about you all. I trust God will guide your paths and actions, keep you safe and help with the work you will be doing.
